Ingredients

  • 36 ounce tuna steaks ( 3/)
  • cup all-natural apricot nectar 
  • tablespoon cornstarch 
  • cup cranberry juice cocktail 
  • tablespoon ginger fresh grated peeled
  • cup green onions thinly sliced
  • teaspoon habanero pepper seeded chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon rind grated
  • tablespoons juice of lime 
  • 0.5 teaspoon orange rind grated
  • cup pineapple juice 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoon sugar 
  • tablespoon water

Directions

  1. Combine first 10 ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, and cook until reduced to 1 1/2 cups (about 15 minutes); remove from heat.
  2. Combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl; stir well with a whisk.
  3. Add to pan. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat; stir in onions.
  5. Prepare grill.
  6. Place tuna on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 3 minutes on each side or until medium-rare or desired degree of doneness, basting frequently with glaze.
