Ingredients

  • 0.5 ounce chartreuse yellow
  • ounces hendrick's gin 
  • 10 ounces hendrick's gin dry such as spring 44
  • 0.8 ounce lime fresh
  • serving optional: lemon 
  • 0.5 ounce st. germain 
  •  tea bags green

    Directions

    1. Pour gin into resealable jar and add jasmine green tea bag. Infuse at room temperature for 1 hour, taste for flavor, then continue to infuse up to 2 hours more if desired, tasting every 30 minutes.
    2. Remove tea bags and reseal.
    3. To make the cocktail: Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
    4. Add tea-infused gin, lime juice, St. Germain, and yellow Chartreuse. Shake until well chilled, about 10 seconds.
    5. Double strain into chilled coupe glass. Squeeze oils from outside of lemon peel onto the drink and rub outside of peel along the glass's rim.
    6. Garnish with lemon peel.
