  • 0.8 teaspoon cornstarch 
  • 0.3 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground pepper red
  • 24 ounce pacific halibut filets ()
  • tablespoon honey 
  • 0.5 cup pineapple juice 
  • tablespoons seasoned bread crumbs 
  • tablespoons teriyaki sauce low-sodium
  • tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well with a whisk.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs and halibut in a large zip-top plastic bag. Seal and shake to coat.
  3. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add fish; cook 4 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  5. Remove fish from pan; keep warm.
  6. Add teriyaki mixture to pan. Bring to a boil; cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute.
  7. Pour over fish.
