Ingredients

  • slices bacon chopped
  • teaspoons champagne vinegar 
  • tablespoon flat-leaf parsley fresh chopped
  • pounds haricots verts trimmed
  • teaspoon kosher salt 
  • 0.8 cup shallots thinly sliced ( 2 medium)
  • 1.5 tablespoons walnut oil toasted
  • tablespoons walnuts toasted chopped

Directions

  1. Cook beans in boiling water for 7 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  2. Drain and plunge beans into ice water; drain.

  4. Add shallots to drippings in pan; cook 5 minutes or until tender.
