  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • fillet anchovy canned
  • servings lemon-grilled chicken breasts thinly sliced
  • 1.3 cups croutons plain
  • large eggs 
  • tablespoon olive oil extravirgin
  •  garlic cloves 
  • 0.3 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • tablespoon juice of lemon fresh
  • ounce parmigiano-reggiano cheese grated
  • 14 ounces hearts of romaine lettuce separated
  • tablespoon water

Directions

  1. Place egg in a small bowl or coffee mug; cover with boiling water.
  2. Let stand 1 minute. Rinse egg with cold water; break egg into a small bowl.
  3. Combine pepper and next 3 ingredients (through garlic) in a mini food processor; process until minced.
  4. Add egg and juice; process 1 minute or until thick. Gradually add oil and 1 tablespoon water, processing until blended.
