Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup cherries dried
  • 0.5 cup apricots dried chopped
  • 0.5 cup pears dried chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon rubbed sage dried
  • 0.3 teaspoon thyme leaves dried
  • tablespoons honey 
  • 0.3 cup plum brandy sweet
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • 1.5 cups onion chopped
  • 0.5 cup raisins 
  • cups water

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion; cover and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add water and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until thick (about 20 minutes).
  4. Pour into a bowl; cool.
  5. Note: Apple juice may be substituted for Marsala, if desired.
