  • servings rice hot cooked
  • teaspoon cornstarch 
  • teaspoon sesame oil dark
  • ounces extra-firm tofu cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 0.5 teaspoon ginger fresh grated peeled
  • ounces green beans trimmed halved
  • 0.5 pound ground pork 
  • tablespoons hoisin sauce 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup scallions chopped
  • 0.5 cup scallions chopped
  • teaspoon vegetable oil 
  • 0.3 cup water

Directions

  1. Cook green beans in boiling water 5 minutes, and drain. Blend 1/4 cup water, hoisin, cornstarch, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add 1/2 cup scallions and ginger; saut 30 seconds. Brown pork.
  4. Add tofu, and saut 1 minute.
  5. Add hoisin mixture and beans, and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in 1/4 cup scallions, sesame oil, and salt.
  6. Serve with rice.
