  • 12 oz apricot preserves 
  • lb brisket 
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 10 oz a.1. original sauce 
  • large onions separated sliced
  • cup heinz tomato ketchup 

Equipment

  • aluminum foil

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Place meat in roasting pan.
  3. Mix next 4 ingredients in large bowl until blended.
  4. Add onions; toss to coat.
  5. Pour evenly over meat. Cover with foil; pierce foil in several places with sharp knife or fork to vent.
  6. Bake 3-1/2 to 4 hours or until done (160F).
  7. Let stand, covered, 10 min. before slicing.
  8. Serve with meat drippings.
