  •  juice of lime 
  •  nectarines peeled cut into chunks
  •  peaches peeled cut into chunks
  • cup pineapple chunks fresh canned
  • cup sugar 
  • cup cherries dark sweet pitted halved
  • cups water

Directions

  1. In heavy saucepan, heat sugar, water, lime juice and basil over high heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat; discard basil sprig.
