Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon mustard dry
  •  egg yolks 
  • tablespoons juice of lemon 
  • 0.3 teaspoon paprika 
  • Dash bell pepper red
  • teaspoon salt 
  • cups vegetable oil divided
  • tablespoons vinegar

Directions

  1. Combine salt, mustard, paprika, and pepper in a deep, narrow bowl.
  2. Add egg yolks, and beat at high speed of an electric mixer until thickened.
  3. Add vinegar; beat well.
  4. Add 1 1/2 cups oil, 1 tablespoon at a time; beat at high speed until mixture begins to thicken.
  5. Add remaining 1/2 cup oil, alternately with lemon juice, 1 tablespoon at a time. Spoon into a glass or plastic container; cover and refrigerate. (Do not store mayonnaise in a metal container.)
