Ingredients

  • tablespoons almonds sliced
  • 11 ounce bread dough refrigerated french canned
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • tablespoons honey 
  • 0.5 teaspoon water

Directions

  1. Unroll dough; cut into 3 equal pieces. Shape each portion into a rope.
  2. Place ropes on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray; (do not stretch). Braid ropes; pinch loose ends to seal.
  3. Combine honey, water, and ginger, stirring well.
  4. Brush braided dough with half of honey mixture.
  5. Bake braid at 350 for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven; brush with remaining honey mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with almonds.
  8. Bake 10 additional minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
  9. Remove from baking sheet immediately.
  10. Serve warm.
