  • 12  figs dried
  • 0.3 cup honey 
  • tablespoons slivered almonds toasted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 32
  2. Place figs in a saucepan.
  3. Add water to cover; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat; uncover and let stand 20 minutes.
  5. Drain well.
  6. Place figs in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish; drizzle with honey.
  7. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
  8. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
  9. Serve warm.
