Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • tablespoons cider vinegar 
  • teaspoons cornstarch 
  • teaspoons sesame oil dark
  • tablespoons ginger fresh minced peeled
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • 0.7 cup honey 
  • tablespoons juice of lemon fresh
  • tablespoons soya sauce low-sodium
  • teaspoon orange rind grated
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 1.3 pounds chicken thighs boneless skinless cut into bite-sized pieces ( 16 thighs)
  • teaspoons water 
  • teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Combine first 9 ingredients in a large zip-top plastic bag; seal and shake well.
  2. Add chicken; seal and toss to coat. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  3. Preheat oven to 42
  4. Remove chicken from bag, reserving marinade. Arrange chicken in a single layer on the rack of a broiler pan coated with cooking spray.
  5. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes, stirring once.
  7. While chicken is cooking, strain marinade through a sieve into a bowl; discard solids.
  8. Place marinade in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook 3 minutes; skim solids from surface.
  9. Combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl; stir with a whisk.
  10. Add cornstarch mixture to pan, stirring with a whisk; cook 1 minute.
  11. Remove from heat; pour glaze into a large bowl.
  12. Preheat broiler.
  13. Add chicken to glaze; toss well to coat.
  14. Place chicken mixture on a jelly roll pan; broil 5 minutes or until browned, stirring twice.
  15. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
