  • 10 servings pepper black freshly ground to taste
  • tablespoons butter 
  • pounds carrots peeled halved quartered thin ( or if thicker than)
  • teaspoon cumin seeds 
  • teaspoon curry powder 
  • 0.5 cup honey 
  • 10 servings salt to taste

  1. Cook carrots in boiling salted water to cover 5 minutes or until tender.
  2. Drain.
  3. Meanwhile, heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Add carrots; cook, stirring, 2 to 3 minutes or until honey thickens and coats carrots.
  6. Remove from heat; add butter, stirring until melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
