  • quarts apple cider 
  • 1.5 quarts 1/4 cup dried cranberry (juice sweetened if possible) (not cocktail, no sugar added)
  • 0.3 cup brown sugar packed
  • sticks cinnamon 
  • serving cinnamon schnapps 
  •  cranberry-orange relish thinly sliced

  2. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Strain.
  3. Pour into stemmed mugs and add a shot of spiced rum or cinnamon schnapps if desired.
