  • small apricot halves pitted peeled
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar 
  • stick butter melted
  • tablespoon curry powder 
  •  juice of lemon juiced
  • 20  maraschino cherries 
  •  peaches cored peeled quartered
  •  pears cored peeled quartered
  • 0.5 cup pecans chopped
  • cup pineapple chunks fresh cut into 1-inch pieces

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Stir 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon curry powder and lemon juice together in a small bowl.
  3. Combine all the fruit in a large baking dish and stir together with remaining ingredients.
  4. Sprinkle butter mixture over fruit and bake in preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, basting often.
