Ingredients

  • 14.5 ounce canned tomatoes diced undrained canned
  • clove garlic minced
  • 16 ounce italian-cut green beans frozen
  • 0.3 cup bell pepper green chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon penzey's southwest seasoning dried italian
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • 0.3 cup onion chopped
  • tablespoons parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Cook green beans according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Set aside, and keep warm.
  2. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray; add oil.
  3. Place over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Add onion, green pepper, and garlic; saute 4 minutes. Stir in tomato, Italian seasoning, and salt. Cook until thoroughly heated, stirring often.
  5. Combine green beans and tomato mixture; toss lightly.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
