  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • rib celery chopped
  • 1.5 cups chicken stock see 
  • large eggs 
  • 0.3 cup flat-leaf parsley fresh chopped
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • 0.5 cup half-and-half 
  • 12 ounces sausage sweet italian
  •  onion chopped
  • teaspoons poultry seasoning 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 37
  2. Arrange bread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  4. Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink.
  5. Add onion, celery, and garlic; saut 5 minutes or until tender.
  6. Add stock, stirring to loosen browned bits from pan.
  7. Combine bread, sausage mixture, poultry seasoning, and next 3 ingredients in a large bowl, tossing to combine.
  8. Whisk together eggs and half-and-half, and fold into stuffing.
  9. Spoon stuffing into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking pan; cover with foil, and bake 20 minutes. Uncover, and bake 10 more minutes or until golden brown.
