  • lb ground beef 
  • links pork sausage italian
  • cup onion finely chopped (2 medium)
  • 0.5 cup bell pepper green finely chopped
  • 0.8 cup mushrooms finely chopped
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon pepper 
  • 1.3 cups tomatoes 
  • 0.7 cup barbecue sauce 
  • large hawaiian rolls split

Directions

  1. Heat 10-inch skillet over medium heat. In large bowl, mix together beef and pork; add to skillet.
  2. Add onions, bell pepper, mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper; mix well. Cook, stirring frequently, until beef and pork are no longer pink and vegetables until tender.
  3. Stir in marinara and barbecue sauces.
  4. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low to low; simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until thickened.
  5. Serve beef-pork mixture in buns.
