Ingredients

  • tablespoon brown sugar 
  • teaspoon thyme leaves dried
  •  garlic cloves chopped
  • tablespoon ground allspice 
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg 
  • teaspoon coarsely ground pepper black
  • tablespoons jalapeno finely chopped
  • 0.3 cup juice of lime fresh
  • teaspoon lime rind grated
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 18 ounce chicken breast halves boneless skinless
  • pound chicken thighs boneless skinless

Directions

  1. Combine first 12 ingredients in a blender; process until well blended.
  2. Pour mixture into a large heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; add onion and chicken. Seal bag; marinate in refrigerator 1 to 2 hours, turning bag occasionally.
  3. Prepare grill.
  4. Remove chicken from bag; discard marinade.
  5. Place chicken on grill rack coated with cooking spray. Grill chicken, covered, 5 minutes on each side or until done.
