Ingredients

  • 14.5 ounces beef broth ready-to-serve canned
  • 0.3 cup dijon mustard 
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • pounds lamb stew meat 
  • tablespoon juice of lemon 
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon zest grated
  • 1.3 pounds baby potatoes cubed
  • 10 ounces peas green frozen thawed
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Mix flour, salt and pepper in resealable plastic bag.
  2. Add lamb; shake until evenly coated.
  3. Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook lamb in oil about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain.
  4. Mix lamb and remaining ingredients except peas in 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours or until lamb is tender.
  6. Skim fat from juices in cooker. Stir peas into lamb mixture.
  7. Cover and cook on high heat setting 10 to 15 minutes or until peas are hot.
