Ingredients

  • cup bay leaves assorted packed () (such as anise hyssop, tarragon, and mint)
  • ounces cheese blue crumbled
  • 1.5 cups chervil 
  • servings pepper black freshly ground
  • cups the salad mixed (such as purslane, mâche, baby kale, watercress, and tatsoi)
  • 0.3 cup juice of lemon fresh
  •  nectarines pitted halved thinly sliced
  • 0.3 cup olive oil ()
  • tablespoons shallots minced

Directions

  1. Mix lemon juice and shallot in a smallbowl and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Letmacerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Whisk in 1/4 cup oiland season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Whisk in more oil if dressing is too tart.
  5. Arrange nectarine slices on a servingplatter. Scatter almonds and blue cheeseover.
  6. Combine all greens and herbs ina large bowl.
