  • Tbsp cornstarch 
  • Tbsp juice of lemon 
  • tsp lemon zest grated
  • 0.1 tsp salt 
  • 0.7 cup sugar 
  • cup water 
  • drops food coloring yellow

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in medium saucepan. Gradually add water, stirring until well blended.
  2. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring frequently. Boil 3 min., stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add butter, lemon zest, lemon juice and food coloring; stir until butter is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
