Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • 0.5 teaspoon bottled garlic minced
  • teaspoons butter 
  • 0.3 cup cooking wine dry white
  • tablespoons parsley fresh finely chopped
  • tablespoon juice of lemon fresh
  • teaspoons olive oil 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 1.5 pounds sea scallops 
  • tablespoons shallots minced

Equipment

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sprinkle sea scallops with salt and pepper.
  3. Add scallops to pan, and saut 2 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove scallops from pan, and keep warm.
  5. Melt butter in pan.
  6. Add shallots and garlic; saut 30 seconds.
  7. Add wine and juice; cook 1 minute. Return scallops to pan; toss to coat.
  8. Remove from heat; sprinkle with parsley.
  9. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
