  • tablespoon sugar 
  • 0.5 cup water

Directions

  1. Cook carrot in a small amount of boiling water 4 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain and return to saucepan.
  2. Add 1/2 cup water and sugar; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 9 minutes or until liquid evaporates and carrot is tender. Stir in lime juice, margarine, and salt.
