  • pound baby lima beans frozen
  •  garlic clove 
  • 0.3 cup juice of lemon fresh
  • tablespoon olive oil extra-virgin
  • 0.8 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoons sesame seed toasted

Directions

  1. Cook beans in boiling water 10 minutes or until very tender.
  2. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking liquid.
  3. Place sesame seeds in a blender; process until finely ground.
  4. Add juice and remaining ingredients; process until blended.
  5. Add beans and 1/2 cup reserved liquid; process until almost smooth, scraping sides of blender occasionally.
  6. Serve the dip with tender raw vegetables like pea pods and cucumber halves or slightly steamed carrot sticks and broccoli florets.
