  •  tea bags green
  • 0.5 cup juice of lemon fresh
  • 0.5 cup orange liqueur 
  • 1.5 cups rum 
  • 32 oz seltzer water chilled
  • 0.5 cup sugar 
  • 1.5 cups water boiling
  • 2.5 cups irish whiskey

    Directions

    1. Pour boiling water over tea bags; cover and steep 4 minutes.
    2. Remove and discard tea bags. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar until dissolved, adding additional sugar (up to 1/2 cup) if desired.
    3. Combine tea, whiskey, and next 3 ingredients in a pitcher. Cover and chill 1 to 4 hours. Stir in seltzer water.
    4. Serve over ice.
    5. Note: We tested with Triple Sec orange liqueur.
