Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup almonds sliced
  • rib celery chopped
  • tablespoon parsley fresh chopped
  •  green onions chopped
  • 0.1 teaspoon hot sauce 
  • 0.5 head iceberg lettuce 
  • 11 ounce mandarin oranges drained canned
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • ounce oriental-flavored ramen noodle soup mix 
  • 0.5 head romaine lettuce 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoons sugar divided
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil 
  • tablespoons vinegar white

Directions

  1. Remove flavor packet from soup mix, and set aside. Crumble noodles.
  2. Bake noodles in a shallow pan at 350 for 10 minutes or until toasted, stirring after 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven, and cool.
  4. Cook sliced almonds and 3 tablespoons sugar in a small nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, 5 to 6 minutes or until sugar is dissolved and almonds are evenly coated.
  5. Remove almond mixture from heat, and set aside.
  6. Whisk together reserved flavor packet, remaining 2 tablespoons sugar, oil, and next 5 ingredients.
  7. Toss together lettuces, celery, and onions in a bowl.
  8. Drizzle with dressing; toss.
  9. Add noodles, almond mixture, and oranges; toss.
  10. Serve immediately.
