  •  chipotle sauce canned minced seeded
  • small garlic head 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground allspice 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cloves 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground coriander 
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup 
  • cup onion finely chopped ( 1 small)
  • 0.3 cup rice vinegar 
  • 1.5 cups tomato sauce 
  • 0.3 teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. Remove white papery skin from garlic head (do not peel or separate the cloves). Wrap head in foil.
  3. Bake at 350 for 1 hour; cool 10 minutes. Separate cloves; squeeze to extract garlic pulp. Discard skins.
  4. Combine garlic and remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat; bring to a simmer. Cook 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Strain mixture through a sieve over a bowl, and discard solids.
