  • tablespoons brown sugar 
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground cloves 
  • 0.3 cup maple syrup 
  • tablespoon butter melted
  • 0.3 cup orange juice fresh
  • 0.3 cup pecans toasted chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 2.5 pounds sweet potatoes peeled cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices

Directions

  1. Place the sweet potato slices in a 2-quart casserole.
  2. Combine juice and next 5 ingredients (juice through cloves) in a small bowl.
  3. Pour juice mixture over potatoes. Cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH 10 minutes. Stir after 5 minutes. Uncover, and microwave at HIGH 5 minutes or until potato is tender.
  4. Sprinkle with pecans.
