Ingredients

  • slices garnishes: lemon mint sprigs 
  • ounce no-calorie sweetener 
  •  regular-size tea bags 
  • cups water divided

Equipment

  • sauce pan

Directions

  1. Bring tea bags and 2 cups water to a boil in a saucepan; turn off heat. Cover and steep 30 minutes.
  2. Remove and discard tea bags.
  3. Pour into a 1/2-gallon pitcher, and add 3 cups water and sweetener, stirring well.
  4. Serve over ice.
  5. Garnish, if desired.
  6. *1/2 cup sugar, 13 (035-ounce) packets Equal, or 1/2 cup Equal Sugar Lite may be substituted.
  7. Note: For testing purposes only, we used Luzianne Tea and Splenda.
