Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup plus light
  • ounce mushrooms fresh chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • servings garlic salt to taste
  •  bell pepper green cut into large chunks
  • 0.3 cup juice of lemon 
  •  onions quartered
  • tablespoons sesame seed 
  •  chicken breast halves boneless skinless cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
  • 0.5 cup soya sauce 
  • cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, blend vegetable oil, soy sauce, light corn syrup, lemon juice, sesame seeds, garlic powder, and garlic salt.
  2. Place chicken in the mixture. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil grate. Thread chicken onto skewers alternately with mushrooms, onions, and green bell pepper.
  4. Pour marinade into a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Place skewers on the prepared grill. Cook 15 to 20 minutes, turning frequently, until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. Baste with the boiled marinade frequently during the last 10 minutes.
