Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup cooking wine dry red
  •  garlic clove crushed
  • 0.5 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper 
  • 12 ounce lamb rib chops lean
  • tablespoons soya sauce low-sodium
  • tablespoons or dried fresh chopped
  • 1.5 teaspoons or dried fresh chopped

Directions

  1. Trim fat from chops; set chops aside.
  2. Combine wine and next 5 ingredients in a large zip-top heavy-duty plastic bag.
  3. Add chops; seal bag, and marinate in refrigerator 8 hours, turning bag occasionally.
  4. Remove chops from bag, reserving marinade.
  5. Prepare grill or broiler.
  6. Place chops on grill rack or broiler pan, and cook 4 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness, basting frequently with reserved marinade.
  7. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs, if desired.
