Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup vermouth dry
  • tablespoon marjoram fresh chopped
  • tablespoons thyme leaves fresh chopped
  •  garlic cloves minced
  •  jalapeno finely chopped
  • tablespoons juice of lemon fresh
  • tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper sauce hot (such as Tabasco)
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 1.8 pounds shrimp deveined peeled

Directions

  1. Combine first 9 ingredients in a large zip-top plastic bag. Marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes, turning bag occasionally.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add half of shrimp; cook 1 1/2 minutes on each side or until done.
  4. Remove shrimp from pan. Repeat with remaining olive oil and remaining shrimp.
