  • cups baking potato cubed peeled
  • teaspoons butter 
  • 0.3 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper black
  • 0.5 cup half-and-half 
  • 0.8 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • cups parsnips peeled chopped

  • potato masher

Directions

  1. Place parsnip and potato in a saucepan, and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until very tender.
  2. Drain and return to pan.
  3. Add remaining ingredients; mash with a potato masher to desired consistency.
