Ingredients

  • ounces rainbow-colored candy uncooked (spiral)
  • 0.5 pound ground beef 
  • 0.3 cup breadcrumbs soft
  • 0.3 cup onion finely chopped
  • tablespoon worcestershire sauce 
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground pepper red (cayenne)
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 28 ounces tomatoes diced undrained canned
  • 0.3 cup parsley fresh finely chopped
  • 0.3 cup tomato paste 
  • 0.7 cup chicken broth (from 32 oz carton)
  • tablespoons sugar 
  • tablespoons basil dried fresh chopped
  • teaspoons oregano dried fresh chopped
  • teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
  2. While pasta is cooking, spray 10-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray.
  3. Mix beef, bread crumbs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper and garlic. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Cook meatballs in skillet over medium-high heat until brown on all sides.
  4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  5. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cook about 15 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink in center.
  6. Serve over pasta.
