Ingredients

  • 12 fluid ounces ale dark
  •  beef short ribs cut into serving-sized pieces
  • tablespoons brown sugar packed
  • 10.5 ounces campbell's® condensed onion soup french canned
  • servings extra wide egg noodles hot mashed
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • cloves garlic minced
  • teaspoon thyme leaves dried crushed

Directions

  1. Place the beef into a 5-quart slow cooker.
  2. Add the brown sugar, garlic, thyme and flour and toss to coat. Stir the soup and ale in a small bowl.
  3. Pour over the beef. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours* or until the beef is fork-tender.
  4. Serve with the mashed potatoes. *Or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
