Ingredients

  • sprig basil for garnish
  • pound poached berries mixed cut into 1/2" pieces
  • servings pepper black freshly ground
  • teaspoon juice of lemon fresh
  • teaspoon lemon zest finely grated
  • teaspoon juice of lime fresh
  • servings olive oil extra virgin extra-virgin (for drizzling)
  • tablespoon orange juice fresh
  • tablespoons sugar 
  • servings whipped cream

Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients and basil sprig ina medium heatproof bowl; toss to coat. Coverwith plastic wrap.
  2. Place over a large saucepanof simmering water; cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Let cool for 15 minutes. Chill until cold,about 4 hours. DO AHEAD: Berry gazpachocan be made 1 day ahead. Keep chilled.
  4. Divide fruit and juices among bowls;drizzle with oil, garnish with basil leaves andpepper, and top with a scoop of ice cream.
