  • 0.3 cup butter 
  • 0.3 cup creamy peanut butter reduced-fat
  • 0.3 cup chocolate chips dark
  • 0.3 cup milk 2% reduced-fat
  • 1.5 cups oats uncooked quick
  • cup sugar 
  • 0.3 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients (through milk) in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. Cook until sugar dissolves, stirring gently (about 2 minutes).
  2. Remove from heat; add chocolate chips.
  3. Let stand 1 minute; stir with a whisk until chips are melted.
  4. Add peanut butter and vanilla; stir well with a whisk. Stir in oats. Cool slightly.
  5. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto wax paper; cool 15 minutes or until firm.
