  • 0.3 cup available in the asian foods section of some supermarkets and at asian markets (lager)
  • 0.3 cup peanut butter 
  • tablespoons soya sauce 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • oz pasta uncooked
  • cups broccoli florets frozen
  • cup carrots (from 10-oz bag)
  • medium bell pepper red cut into bite-size strips
  • tablespoons spring onion sliced
  • 0.3 cup cilantro leaves fresh chopped

Directions

  1. In small bowl, gradually beat beer into peanut butter with whisk until smooth. Beat in remaining sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  2. Cook linguine as directed on package, adding broccoli, carrots and bell pepper during last 2 minutes of cooking.
  3. Drain; return to saucepan.
  4. Pour sauce over pasta mixture in saucepan; gently stir to coat. Stir in green onions and cilantro.
