- 1.3 cups nuts mixed chopped
- 1.5 cups short grain brown rice
- 3 tablespoons butter unsalted
- 4 cups water

- Add rice and 1/4 teaspoon salt, then reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, until rice is tender, about 40 minutes.
