Ingredients

  • 16 oz brownie mix 
  • serving vegetable oil for on brownie mix box
  • cup rolled oats 
  • oz chocolate icing white

Equipment

  • frying pan
  • oven
  • wire rack
  • toothpicks

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom of 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray
  2. Make brownie batter as directed on box. Stir in oats until blended.
  3. Spread in pan.
  4. Bake 22 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Cut into 6 rows by 3 rows.
  6. Squeeze cookie icing over brownies in zigzag pattern.
