Ready in just 45 minutes, this recipe is an effortless yet elegant way to enjoy a protein-rich meal with minimal ingredients. Whether served as a side dish or a light main course, these buttery, perfectly cooked eggs deliver a satisfying texture and flavor with only 198 calories per serving.

What makes this recipe stand out is its simplicity and adaptability. The method—starting with a cold pan—ensures the eggs cook gently, resulting in tender whites and creamy yolks. The touch of butter adds richness, while a pinch of salt enhances the natural taste of the eggs. Though delicious on their own, these Oeufs Au Plat can be elevated with accompaniments like Green Onion Sausage and Shrimp Gravy for a heartier meal. Inspired by John Besh’s "My New Orleans," this dish brings a touch of Southern charm to your table with minimal effort.

Perfect for a quick breakfast, brunch, or even a light dinner, Oeufs Au Plat is a timeless recipe that proves great food doesn’t need to be complicated. Whether you're cooking for one or looking for a simple yet impressive side, these fried eggs are a delicious and nutritious choice.
