  •  bay leaves 
  • pounds stew meat cubed
  •  carrots sliced
  • clove garlic crushed
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground allspice 
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black
  • tablespoon juice of lemon 
  •  onion diced
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika 
  •  potatoes cubed
  • tablespoon salt 
  • teaspoon sugar 
  • cups water boiling
  • 0.5 cup corn whole
  • teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the stew meat, boiling water, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and garlic. Stir in the onion, bay leaf, salt, sugar, ground pepper, paprika and allspice.
  2. Add the potatoes, carrots and corn.
  3. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours.
  4. Switch the slow cooker to LOW and cook for another 3 1/2 hours.
  5. Remove bay leaves before serving.
