Ingredients

  • cup garnish: blackberry jam 
  • 12 oz bread french cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • large eggs 
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • cups half and half 
  • 10 servings whipped cream 
  • teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Cook jam in a small saucepan over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring once.
  2. Place half of bread cubes in bottom of a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Top with cream cheese cubes, and drizzle with melted jam. Top with remaining bread cubes.
  3. Whisk together eggs and next 3 ingredients.
  4. Pour over bread mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Cover tightly, and chill 8 to 24 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 32
  7. Bake, covered, 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until bread is golden brown and mixture is set.
  8. Serve with desired toppings.
