  •  chicken cutlets (1 pound total; 1/)
  • ounces ham boiled thin
  • cup gruyere cheese grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  •  spinach leaves trimmed
  • tablespoons butter unsalted
