  • cups heart-shape paper punch 
  • 0.3 cup cinnamon 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • 0.7 cup skim milk fat-free (skim)
  • 0.3 cup blackstrap molasses 
  •  eggs slightly beaten
  • tablespoon orange zest grated

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Place paper baking cup in each of 12 regular-size muffin cups.
  3. In large bowl, stir together Bisquick mix, 3 tablespoons plus 1 1/2 teaspoons of the cinnamon-sugar and the ginger; make well in center of mixture. In small bowl, mix milk, molasses, egg and orange peel with whisk.
  4. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups, filling half full; sprinkle remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon-sugar over batter.
  5. Bake 12 minutes. Immediately remove from pan to cooling rack.
  6. Serve warm.
