  • teaspoon coarsely orange rind grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Arrange carrot in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and steam 8 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  2. Combine orange rind and next 4 ingredients in a saucepan; stir in carrot. Bring to a boil; cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla.
  4. Serve immediately.
