Ingredients

  • 14.5 oz canned tomatoes diced drained canned
  • 0.5 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • pound green beans fresh trimmed
  • tablespoon parsley fresh chopped
  •  garlic clove minced
  • tablespoon juice of lemon fresh
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth low-sodium
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • cups onion chopped
  • tablespoon oregano fresh chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.8 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Saut onion in hot oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat 8 minutes or until tender.
  2. Add garlic; cook, stirring often, 4 minutes or until garlic is tender and golden brown.
  3. Add beans and next 6 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes or until beans are tender. Stir in lemon juice.
  4. Transfer to a serving dish; sprinkle with feta.
  5. Serve with a slotted spoon.
