Osso Buco is a classic Italian dish that is perfect for a cozy night in. This recipe is a dairy-free take on the traditional dish, making it accessible to those with dairy allergies or intolerances. With a cooking time of just 45 minutes, it's a quick and easy option for a weeknight dinner, but it's also impressive enough to serve at a dinner party.

The veal shanks are dredged in seasoned flour and sauteed in olive oil until golden brown, locking in the juices and creating a delicious crust. The addition of garlic, onion, chicken stock, white wine, and tomato sauce gives the dish a rich and flavorful sauce. The meat is then slow-cooked until tender, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Served on a bed of saffron rice, this dish is a true comfort food.

This recipe is not only delicious but also very healthy, with a high protein content and a good balance of fat and carbohydrates.
